russian love.

I've had a stupid love affair with the notion of 'Russian' for quite some time now,

& that's less to do with culture/geography/history/philosophy;

but rather, more to do with a good set of legs that didn't even come out of Russia. 

(Whoops)

Now though, I'm kind of intrigued by things that genuinely do come out of the country. 

Alla Nestulova's photography captures a warmth within the chilling reality of the Russian climate & (popular) history. It sort of gives the sense that something lovely sits beneath a cold exterior.

& has drawn me in a little.

I never thought I'd be intrigued to learn about a Russia(n) with a little more substance. But wow, I am.
